The UPG Electrical facility has over 50 years of experience producing electrical steel laminations. Since 1966, we have manufactured billions of electrical steel laminations and over 100 million motor cores (rotors and stators) used in electric motors, EV traction motors, lighting transformer ballasts, generators, alternators, motor starters, and many other motor and power transformer applications.
