Stamping - Lamination Press Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Monroe, WI
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be able to string, twist and stack laminations.
- Know how to operate the press and peripheral equipment.
- Perform required quality checks, paperwork, coil changes and press functions.
- paperwork to include Count Sheet, Quality Sheet, transfer tickets and communication book
- Identify and segregate non-conforming material; able to complete non-conforming material tag
- Assist set-up as required.
- Keep area clean and orderly - maintain housekeeping.
- Understand safety device and guard functions.
- Understand work instructions and standard work for the process and products run in stamping.
- Load annealing trays or skids in the prescribed configuration.
- Report to the supervisor any problems or concerns.
- Enter production posting in the ERP system.

- Mechanical Aptitude
- Lift 50 pounds
- Trouble Shooting Ability
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities and Authorities
- Carry out quality checks based on control plan / QRR requirements and determine conformance of product characteristics and process controls with respect to requirements within the scope of the QRR; and record objective evidence of that activity accurately as required.
- Stop production in the area of operation pertaining to this job function scope in the event the process is producing nonconforming product or waste.
- Positively control nonconforming product and alert supervision and Quality Assurance in the event nonconforming product is discovered.
- Understand and periodically review documentation pertaining to the job function and request revision of process documentation when appropriate.
